Preparations for the upcoming event ...U.S. Is Building New Large Base With Airstrip In Northwestern Syria

At northern Syrian town of al-Darbasiyah next to Turkish border, the US-led coalition is building a new large base with an airstrip. According to ANF News, a Kurdish outlet, said that the locals in al-Darbasiyah are observing a raising number of trucks loaded with various materials pertaining to building has been heading to the base site. As per the report a major infrastructures are being built there. As per ANF quoted military sources in the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), they are saying “The establishment of the military base south of al-Darbasiyah by the coalition comes to confirm the plan of a long-term deployment of international forces in northeastern Syria,”. Last month, a delegation of the US-led coalition, accompanied by SDF commanders, inspected the Tabqa airbase in Raqqa. Oppositions sources then said that the coalition is planning to appoint troops and helicopters there. The early part of this year, President Donald Trump has taken back his decision to withdraw all U.S. troops from Syria. According to new reports, that the U.S. is now working to step up its military presence in the war-torn country.


Observers on Twitter had released satellite images showing the ongoing construction of the new US-led coalition base.
